Haltom City
Haltom City is six miles northeast of Fort Worth, and is considered part of the Fort Worth Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is located in Tarrant County. In Haltom City, over 39,000 people reside in 12.4 square miles of land. In 2007, Haltom City started work on a brand new library facility, which was approved in November of 2001. There are also eight city parks in Haltom City, which host a variety of community events and sporting programs. One is also the home of a Recreation Center, which offers a variety of fitness options.
