Arlington

Arlington is the largest suburb in between Dallas and Fort Worth. It was incorperated in 1884, and had an estimated 371,038 people in 2007. It is the fiftieth most populous city in the US and the seventh most populous in the state of Texas. The city includes over 99 square miles and is located eight miles south of the DFW airport. The area boasts a 2800 acre industrial park and has experienced steady growth over the past five years. Arlington is also home to the third largest school in the University of Texas system: the University of Texas at Arlington. It is the home of the original Six Flags and the Texas Rangers' Ballpark. The city has a vibrant art scene including jazz performances at the Texas Hall and live theater at Theatre Arlington. There is also the world famous Johnny High's Country Music Review at Arlington Music Hall.
